This Privacy Policy explains how SocialSchedulerAI LLC ("SocialSchedulerAI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use socialschedulerai.com and the services it provides (the "Service"), which lets you connect your social media accounts and schedule, generate, and publish posts to them.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (via Firebase Authentication).
Content you provide. Post captions and text, images and videos you upload to schedule or publish, website links you add, and your chosen schedule times.
Connected social account data. When you connect a platform such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or TikTok, that platform gives us an access token and basic account or Page information (for example, your Page ID, username, or profile details) limited to the permissions you approve during that platform's own authorization screen. We use this solely to publish the posts you create through the Service.
Payment information. If you purchase credits or a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Automatically collected information. We and our analytics provider (Google Analytics) automatically collect information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, and usage data (such as pages visited) through cookies and similar technologies.
We use the information we collect to: operate and provide the Service, including publishing posts to the platforms you connect at the times you choose; generate AI-assisted captions or image descriptions when you request them; process payments and manage your credits or subscription; communicate with you about your account; maintain the security of the Service and prevent abuse; and comply with our legal obligations.
When you use an AI-assisted feature (for example, generating a caption or description from an image), the specific image or text you submit for that request is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, solely to generate the output returned to you. We do not use your content to train or improve AI models, and we do not sell or share this input data with third parties beyond what is necessary to generate that response.
We share information only in the following ways: with the social media platforms you explicitly connect, and only for the posts you direct us to publish there; with service providers who help us operate the Service, including Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, database, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing), OpenAI (AI features), and Google Analytics (usage analytics); or if required to do so by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SocialSchedulerAI, our users, or others.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We retain your account information and the content you create (including scheduled and published post history) for as long as your account remains active, so we can provide the Service and let you review your post history. Images and videos you upload are stored to support the posts they belong to. When you disconnect a social media platform from the Social Media Connections page, we stop using and remove the stored access token for that platform. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact information below.
Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, California, and elsewhere), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can disconnect any connected social media platform at any time from the Social Media Connections page. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
